... and another two releases
As you can see we're still not doing too good on the updates. Sorry about that. Looking on the positive side, we have two new releases out.

The Spectacle - I, fail 2x12" came out before summer, so frankly it's been around for some time now. As most of you might have heard, the guys disbanded this summer, so this album is a nice document on how good they were. It's an incredible album, really - Be sure to check it out.

In more recent news, the long awaited Beyond the Fences 10" was released on the 15th of November, in time for this year's Bodø Hardcore Festival. "No ceiling in the sky" has 6 punkrock songs, both in Norwegian and English. Some tracks are up on our Releases-page, or on the band's MySpace page.
The coverart was made by Espen Sandberg and Anna-Lisa Johannesen.

We also have another project coming up, some time between winter and spring. More about that soon!

Another year
All right, this has taken over a year, and we're sorry. Few exceptional things have happened the last year. You know how it goes; You set out with a bunch of plans, ideas and goals; some get realized, others don't, some get delayed, etc.. Also, we spent some time trying to form a band, but that went to hell after a short while. New attempts will be made soon.

But here we are.. it's 2006; a new year with new possibilities!

The Jimbo Jones 10" mentioned earlier became too much of a drag for all involved parties, and got cancelled. Perhaps we'll do something when the band records new material. Everyone should take the time to check out Lars DeGarage's side-project, Sexy Police. Grindcore apocalypse!

A Hjertesorg live EP/bootleg has been released by us and the band, limited to 100 ex. Be sure to check out this amazing young band from Bodø. You can download one of the tracks HERE and buy it from us or from the band themselves. This is UMR002 (finally). A video from the concert is to be found HERE.

UMR003 comes in the shape of the Beyond The Fences 10" recorded almost a year ago, wonderfully entitled 'No Ceiling in the Sky'. We are currently awaiting the test prints. It will be released by us and Smart Patrol Records this spring. A track from the forthcoming record can be found here. A tour in support for the record is also in the works, so stay tuned.

We are also one of three labels releasing the vinyl version of one of 2005's finest albums, The Spectacle's 'I, Fail'. This will be an astonishing 2x12" with new cover art, new design, and a neat poster. The other two labels are Smart Patrol (again) and the brand new Great Northern Records (naturally from the northern parts of our fair country). UMR004 will hopefully be out before The Spectacle's final tour in may.

In zine-related news, we're carrying copies of both Liv & Død #1 and No Cage is Big Enough #2. Starting next month, we will distribute the Ebullition zine HeartattaCk, which will be sold for 10 kr. We will get approximately 15 copies of every future issue, so please let us know if you'd like a "subscription". If you live in the vicinity of Oslo, you can buy it from Tiger. Europe's best zine for independent skateboarding, independent art and independent music, GLWDRK, will soon be available from us.

Our pals in Dominic have recorded their first full-length, and it's awesome. It will be released by a bunch of fine labels, including Lilac Sky, Firewalk with me, Dead Letter Records and Great Northern Records. Check out the temporary Dominic website for teasers from the album and other tasty things.

That's pretty much all there is to report. Have a nice day and up the punks!

Liv & Død reprint
The reprint of the excellent fanzine 'Liv & Død #1' is out and you can get your copy from these excellent "places":

AntiRock Distro
Nakkeskudd Distro
Blitz Infoshop
UFFA Bokkafé
Rekyl Vinyl
Bodø Hardcore Distro

Of course, you can also get it from us. Both of us live in Trondheim, so just send us an e-mail and we'll arrange something.

If you are in Trondheim this weekend, we strongly urge you to come to the Dominic show at 3B this Saturday (the 9th). We will bring our distro plus some brand new books (including the new CrimethInc. book 'Recipes for Disaster' and some norwegian translations of 'Animal Liberation' by Peter Singer.) It will be a blast!

Also, check out this new band we're somehow associated with. They're called 'Pray! It Works!', which is ironic since praying doesn't work at all. Just ask Terri Schiavo or Pope JP the second.

Another concert you wouldn't wanna miss is the Kolokol show at UFFA the 16th of April.

Distro and releases
The announced Catena Collapse/Angora Static split-7" won't happen, due to Angora Static breaking up. It's a shame; we were really looking forward to this release, but that's just the way it goes. They will be greatly missed. We still hope to do a release with Catena Collapse sometime, but that's all in the future. Oh, and speaking of releases: A 10" version of the self-titled Jimbo Jones EP will be released sometime this spring by us and Smart Patrol Records. It will be a DIY project in the word's true sense, but we'll get back to that later.

In other news, our distro is finally up on the website. It's not much, but you know what they say: quality over quantity! Anyway, if you'd like to buy or get more information about a record, don't hesitate to contact us.
Have a nice day!

Upcoming releases
It's time to reveal some of our plans for the new year. Please note that these are PLANS, and are subject to change without any warning at all. With that said, the following releases are scheduled for the first part of 2005:

UMR00X: Beyond The Fences CD (with Smart Patrol Records)
UMR00X: Catena Collapse/Angora Static 7"

In addition to these, a repress of the excellent fanzine "Liv & Død #1" is in the works. Please don't hold your breath waiting for anything we're working on.

They need our help
For what it's worth, we extend our deepest sympathies to all the people who directly or indirectly fell victim to the tsunami in south-east Asia. We would also like to point your attention to this article in Aftenposten. Please: read it, reflect and act.

New Jimbo Jones-song and distro-news
We're doing our friends in Jimbo Jones a favor by hosting a song from their new EP on our server. It feels right to advertise it on our website too, so check it out. The EP will be out sometime in January and judging from this song, it will be a true work of art. Download Cock Crowded HERE!

Also: People in the vicinity of Germany can now order the Dominic 10" from the X-Mist Distro.

The 10" is here!
We got the 10" from the pressing plant two days ago, and it looks great. If you are interested in buying it, get in touch with us or go to a Dominic show. We will hopefully ship it out to some european distros too, but how long this will take is unclear.

The official release date is the 19th of November when Dominic plays at UFFA with Catena Collapse and Jimbo Jones. It will be a great night with great bands, so you better show up.

Website opened
The website is up and running! After hyping the label up for some months (heheh), it feels good to finally take our first steps into the real world. Check back as often as possible to get the latest news on the projects we're working on.

After much ado, the cover-art for the Dominic 10" 'Running With Scissors' is ready! Front and back

It was sent to the pressing plant a couple of weeks ago, and we'll have the test pressings any day now. Meanwhile, you can enjoy an exclusive live video of Dominic playing their song 'Show and Tell' at Knaus in Trondheim 28th of August. Click here to view the video.

Finally, we have to namedrop another department of the Untermensch family: Untermensch Buttons. We produce 1" buttons for your band, organization or whatever.
